Machine Connect

How Machine Connect works

Switch on the fridge and heater on your way out to the boat. Or switch off your vehicle's fuel pump remotely for extra theft protection. Now you can also get customised notifications if, for example, your level switch or bilge pump turns on. All with the new Machine Connect.

Machine Connect is part of NorthTracker's theft protection and is a tracking device. Alerts are sent via text message, push notification and email if your tracking device moves outside your security zones. But the new Machine Connect can do so much more than that.

Machine Connect has two inputs that can be used to monitor if your bilge pump is switched on or as a loop around something you want to protect, you get an alarm if the loop is cut. The two outputs can be used to remotely control a siren, a fridge or anything else you want to switch on. If you have a siren today, you can use it for one of the outputs on Machine Connect. If you have a load greater than 0.5Ah on what you want to control, you should use a regular relay.

Sensor
In addition to the above inputs and outputs, you can connect up to 4 wireless sensors. Our Sensor works as a magnetic contact, temperature sensor and humidity sensor. You can of course set alarms on all this. The sensor can be used to alarm your plotter.
Machine connect also has monitoring on your battery bank where you can set alarm levels yourself. This can be used, for example, to see that you have shore power connected to the boat and that the charger is working.

Scout 2.0

Scout 2.0 is our recommendation if you want to protect your outboard or just want a pure anti-theft device for your boat.

Scout 2.0 is a discreet GPS but now up to 5 years battery life. No wires to install, making it much easier to hide well and thus harder for the thief to find. Perfect for boats and cars but also great for mopeds, jet skis, snowmobiles and quad bikes.
