About NorthTracker

NorthTracker develops and operates services in electronic driving logs, anti-theft, tool tracking and alcolocks. The service operates throughout Europe and sales are mainly made in-house but also through a wide dealer network and white labels.

History of NorthTracker

In 2011, two fathers on paternity leave & new neighbours met on the street at home in Bromma. They shared a fascination with the challenge of keeping an eye on their children, and the idea of a GPS service took root.

Both quit their jobs and the first six months were spent scanning the market for similar services. The selection was limited and anything but intuitively user-friendly. Quite quickly, the focus shifted from children to theft protection and to driving logs.

2011

NorthTracker is founded.

2012

Cooperation with the Swedish Hunters' Association and the hunting app "WeHunt"

2013

Cooperation with insurance companies on theft protection and electronic driving logs is initiated.

2014

Cooperation with the Swedish Dementia Association.

2015

SSF approval for reduced insurance premiums, launch of alarm centre

2016

NorthTracker is developing a 'Missing People' system to track search chains.

2017

Signs agreements with several Scandinavian distributors such as Watski/Nautec and Duell.

2018

Starts sales in Norway.

2019

Starts sales in Finland and Denmark.

2020

Integration with alarm centre and control room in Norway.

2021

NorthTracker launches tool tracking with BLE (Bluetooth).

2022

NorthTracker starts offering alcolocks for vehicles.

2023

Launching the Scout 2.0 GPS tracker

2024 spring

Certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001.

2024 autumn

We acquire YachtSafe & redKnows

2025 spring

We start cooperation with Team Marin for alarm centre marine vehicles
