Alarms that are not sent

Make sure the alarm receiver has all the information filled in correctly and has access to the device you want to be alerted

Double check that you have SMS credits left, you can buy these in online shopping

Make sure that the safety zone is activated.

I appen eller webben ser du mottagningen genom att kolla om positionen uppdateras löpande, gör den det finns täckning, annars saknas signal. Dubbelkolla ditt driftläge för Scout-enheterna.

If you are logged in to the app on your phone and have bluetooth switched on, the sensor will send directly to the app instead of to your Machine Connect so no alarms are sent. This is to avoid spamming if you forget to switch off the alarms.

Troubleshooting on physical device

Restart the device by unplugging it and leaving it for 30 minutes.

Unplug the device and put it in another car, take it for a test drive and check how it reacts.

Some cars have interiors that interfere with the GPS signal. In these cases, we recommend changing the GPS unit to a Machine Easy. Examples of cars: BMW 7 Series and IX.

Troubleshooting the system

Go into the account menu and check the authorisation of affected users. If a user is not authorised, the device will not be visible.

If you park in a garage or in a place with poor GPS reception, the last transmission will not be sent. This will resolve itself when you drive out of the garage and the device regains contact.
