Alarms that are not sent

Alarm receiver

Make sure the alarm receiver has all the information filled in correctly and has access to the device you want to be alerted

No SMS will be sent

Double check that you have SMS credits left, you can buy these in online shopping

The device does not update its location

Restart the device

Disconnect the device from the battery and leave it for 30 minutes. Then plug it back in and wait 15 minutes.

Location of the unit

Make sure the device is not under metal or carbon fibre as they weaken the signal.
Double check that the device is properly connected to the battery, you can unplug it and let it discharge for 30 minutes then when you plug it back in it should flash two lights on the front of the device.

Problems with external devices (DIN/DOUT, Sensors)

Unit does not alarm on DIN signal

Double-check the connection to the device's battery.
Make sure you have activated DIN in the app. Device >> Alarm: DIN2/3

DOUT unit does not start

Check the connection to your device. Check that your device is connected to the network.

The sensor does not update

Check the connection between your sensor and Machine Connect. Do this by bringing the sensor closer to the GPS and using the magnet to simulate the opening and closing of a door. When you get an update in the app, back up and check the range. If the door you want to monitor is not in range, try moving the GPS closer if possible.

Sensor does not alarm

If you are logged in to the app on your phone and have bluetooth switched on, the sensor will send directly to the app instead of to your Machine Connect so no alarms are sent. This is to avoid spamming if you forget to switch off the alarms.
