In 2011, two parents on paternity leave and new neighbours met on the street at home in Bromma. Both Carl and Daniel had previous experience of working in large companies, but had secretly thought about starting their own business at some point. They also shared a fascination with the challenge of keeping an eye on their children, and the idea of a GPS service took root.
No sooner said than done, both resigned and the first six months were spent scanning the market for similar services. The selection was limited and anything but intuitively user-friendly. Quite quickly, the focus shifted from children to anti-theft and to driving logs. And that's the way it is.
