Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up your theft protection from NorthTracker

First, you download the app.
Then you register your account.
Du kan nu installera din enhet.
Then set out at least one safety zone.

Beroende på vilken enhet du valt att installera så finns det olika extra funktioner, här är några allmänna.

You can add more users so that more people can share the account and use the features.
Create more alert recipients so that the alert goes out to more people. You can add both users on the account and people not on the account - just fill in the email address and phone number.
Add an object description to make the unit easier to identify for police or insurance companies.
Sätt på Spänningslarm för att få larm om din enhet tappar spänning.
Koppla till sensorer med funktion för dörrsensor, temperatur- och luftfuktighetsmätare, för att hålla koll på om någon kommer in i kabinen och på klimatet.

2. register an account

> Click on "Register here"

> Select "Business" or "Private"

> Select country

> Scan IMEI number (This can be found on the front of the device)

> Enter where you purchased the device

> Enter the name of your company (Only for those who selected company above)

> Enter first and last name

> Enter your email

> Enter your social security number (12 digits) / organisation number

> Enter your address details

> Enter your phone number

> Create a password

> Choose paper invoice or digital invoice (private only)

> Check that your details are correct

> Read and accept the terms and conditions

> Clear

3. Switch on and position the device

> Connect the device to an external power source.

> Place and hide the device well. NOTE! Remember that the tracker needs contact with the satellites, so avoid placing it under metal or carbon fibre, as this can impair reception.

4. Create a safety zone/geofence

> Click on the menu in the top right corner

> Select "Safety zone"

> Click on + in the top right corner

> Select areas where the tracker will be located

> Name your safety zone

> Set the radius of the safety zone (minimum 300 m)

> Save

> Clear

Now you're up and running with your NorthTracker anti-theft device, but there are more features we think you'll want to use.

> Click on the menu in the top right corner

> Select "Account"

> Click on the "old man with the plus sign" at the top right

> Enter contact details and authorisation

> Save

> Swipe the user to the left to edit device permissions

> Select units

> Save

> Clear

2. Skapa fler larmmottagare

> Click on the menu in the top right corner

> Select "Alarm Receiver"

> Click on + in the top right corner

> Select existing user or create new alarm recipient

> Select where to send the alerts (email/phone number, push notifications can only be sent to existing users)

> Välj vilka larm som ska skickas(säkerhetslarm/funktionslarm)

> Save

> Swipe the user to the left and select the devices the recipient should receive alerts from

> Save

> Clear

3. Objektbeskrivning

Please fill in the object description, which can help insurance companies and the police in case of theft.

> Click on Device

> Select "Object description"

> Fill in the details of your property

> Save

> Clear

4. Sätt spänningslarm

> Click on "DEVICE" at the bottom left

> Select "Features"

> Switch on Low battery warning

> Select the interval at which the voltage falls below the limit, a function alarm is sent

> Save

> Clear

5. Koppla sensorer

> Klicka på menyn uppe till höger

> Välj "Lägg till enhet"

> Fyll i Mac adress till sensorn och ge den ett namn.

> Koppla sensorn till en GPS-enhet(detta slår igång bluetooth på GPS-enheten).

> Fyll i vad du vill få larm för och sätt intervallet eller schemat.

> Save

> Montera sensorn inom räckhåll av GPS-enheten.

> Clear

Now your object is entered and tracked by the system. Keep track of the tracker via the app or your computer.

If the device alarms

If the GPS tracker leaves a safety zone, an alarm can be sent via email, push notification and SMS, to the alarm receivers you have added to the system.
