You register the subscription in connection with account registration together with the device’s IMEI.

The invoice is normally sent the month after registration.

Scout 2.0 updates according to the selected operating mode, from real-time tracking up to once every 24 hours.
Machine Easy and Machine Connect update every 150 seconds while moving, and every 10 seconds with Active Tracking enabled.
When stationary: every 24 hours.

The device updates twice per hour when stationary and every 5 minutes while moving. This consumes more battery and is used when the device is stolen.

It is the time the device must remain stationary before a trip is registered as ended.

Temporary GPS disturbances or that the device is installed in a location with poor GPS reception.

The device wakes automatically when it detects movement. If it does not react during slow movement, we can help adjust the sensitivity. Please contact support.

If the device does not register your trip, it may lack GPS signal, mobile coverage, have lost power, or the trip was too short to be logged. On boats, it may also be that the device does not wake up if the boat moves too slowly. We can adjust the sensitivity if needed. Please contact support for assistance.

Use the function “Replace existing device.”

Yes, in your phone’s settings. However, the latest version is always recommended.

Yes, if you have Machine Connect or Machine Easy. Enable Active Tracking and the position will update every 10 seconds for 10 minutes. The Scout model can also track in real time, once per minute.

If you create a security zone, leave it, and receive an alarm notification, you know the alarm is working.

The 2G network will be phased out during 2027, which means your current device will stop working after that.

We recommend upgrading to one of our 4G devices to ensure continued functionality:

  • Scout 2.0 (4G) – for a battery-powered solution.

  • Machine Easy (4G) – if you want a device connected directly to the vehicle’s battery with real-time tracking.

  • Machine Connect (4G) – if you want more features, alarms, and remote control of vehicles or equipment.
