The device may be in power-saving mode. Press Active Tracking to force it to update.

If the device is not registering your trip, it may be due to a lack of GPS signal, poor mobile coverage, loss of power, or the trip being too short to log.
For boats, it may also be because the device does not wake up if the boat is moving too slowly. We can adjust the sensitivity if needed. Please contact support and we will assist you.

This is the amount of time the device must remain stationary before a trip is registered as completed.

If you have set up a safety zone around the device, you will receive alerts according to the details entered under Alarm Recipients, and you can track the position in real time. Using the theft report, you can easily forward information to your insurance company and the police. Contact NorthTracker if you need assistance tracking the device or in your communication with the police.

You register the subscription when creating your account in the NorthTracker app, together with the device’s IMEI number.

The invoice is normally sent the month after registration.

Unfortunately, GPS technology is not completely faultless and may lose contact with satellites if the device is installed in an unsuitable location in the vehicle or if the vehicle is stored under a metal roof or inside a garage. This may result in the device losing signal.

The device should be placed in a way that makes it difficult for a potential thief to detect. At the same time, it must have clear contact with GPS satellites, so avoid installing it under metal or carbon fiber, as this can block the GPS signal.

We recommend contacting a workshop if you need assistance with the installation, or reaching out to support for further instructions.
